Hello, I am Sarah.

You may wonder who I am and why I am a good fit for your business. You want to know why you should trust me with your business's online presence and building your client relationships.

I get it! So, who am I? I am your patient. I am your client. I am your social media follower.

I know the feeling of thinking there’s nowhere left to turn. I know what it’s like to try for years to be healthy and lose excess weight only to regain it.

I know what it’s like to feel alone, like no one understands that sometimes a healthy diet and movement are not always the correct answer to weight loss.

I understand the guilt of thinking I did this to myself and not understanding – or wanting to accept – that obesity is a disease that affects two-thirds of our population.

I know their pain because I am a bariatric patient.

At my highest recorded weight, I was 300 pounds and diagnosed with high blood pressure. It took me two months before I even considered the idea of weight loss surgery and another eight months to undergo gastric bypass.

Now, my goal is to give back to the community that supported me during my pre-op weight loss surgery journey and continues to support me as I navigate this new way of life.

In addition to being a post-op bariatric patient, I am a work-from-home business owner and a homeschooling mother to three young boys, seven and under. They are also my “why” for weight loss surgery and becoming a freelance bariatric copywriter.

I am a military spouse who has moved across the country and back again with my active duty Navy sailor.

Fun fact: ask me about living in an RV for 18 months with our three boys!
